Johnny Thunderwolf

Canada’s Premier Glam Rock Lumberjack

Born beneath the shimmering northern lights in a moose-adjacent log cabin, Johnny Thunderwolf emerged from the Great White North with a dream: to fuse the raw power of rock ‘n’ roll with the unshakable spirit of a man who once wrestled a grizzly (allegedly).

With hair as tall as a maple tree and tighter pants than legally advisable, Johnny burst onto the scene in the ‘70s with his debut album Poutine for the Soul. His hit singles, “Sawdust & Stardust” and “Eh? You Shock Me All Night Long”, climbed the charts faster than a beaver up a dam. His signature move—shredding guitar solos while dual-wielding flannel shirts—became the stuff of legend.

Despite a brief stint in the wilderness after an unfortunate hairspray explosion, Johnny made a triumphant return with his comeback tour, “The Final Farewell Tour… Again” (which has been running since 2003). Fans still flock to see him, hoping for another legendary moment—like that time he drop-kicked a microphone stand into a Tim Hortons drive-thru.

Johnny Thunderwolf: living proof that glam rock and Canadian politeness can, in fact, coexist.
